Abstract

Study Design: Prospective,obesevational. Purpose:To compare various outcome parameters who undergo cataract surgery using Active Sentry &Centurion Ozil handpiece Mateial &Method: Hospital-based, prospective nonrandomized comparative & observational study was carried out in138 patients from April 22toMay23.We operated with ActiveSentry &Centurion Ozil handpiece with preset IOPof 30mmg in different grades of cataract with same parameters. Data were analysed Results:When compared groups, found no statistically significant difference in mean CDE & aspiration time.The difference between estimated consumed fluid was statistically significant. Active sentry handpiece consumes more fluid for soft cataracts. ASM was more activated for soft catract.CONCLUSION: Active Fluidics with both handpieces at low preset IOP allows to complete the surgery with low parameters in all kinds of cataracts with comfort.
