Abstract
Objective:This is retrospective study delves into the complex interplay between idiopathic intracranial hypertension(IIH) and anaemia conducted at Tertiary Health Centre.Methods:Medical records of patients diagnosed with IIH between period of time of 4 months were retrospectively reviewed . This study utilized a multi-faceted approach, including demographic characteristics, clinical presentation, neuro-ophthalmological examinations, neuroimaging and thorough analysis of laboratory results. Treatment strategies were meticulously documented and analysed.Result:A total of 63 patient diagnosed with IIH were included, of whom 36% had concurrent anaemia based on haematological criteria. Among the study cohort, demographic revealed a notable prevalence of 100% were females. Age distribution across the cohort provided valuable insights into age related factors. Moreover, improvements in patient conditions following treatment were observed, highlighting the efficacy of targeted interventions.
