Abstract
Purpose: This study explores the "Fern-like pattern" (FLP) on ultra-widefield fluorescein angiography (UWFA) in various uveitic conditions beyond its classic link to Behçet's disease (BD).Methods: Conducted at a tertiary care center in India, UWFA images of 23 eyes from 12 patients with BD, tubercular vasculitis, intermediate uveitis, Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada (VKH) syndrome, and exudative retinal detachment were analyzed. Results: The cohort included 8 males and 4 females with an average age of 29.58 years. Diagnoses were BD (3 patients), TB vasculitis (4), intermediate uveitis (3), VKH syndrome (1), and exudative retinal detachment (1).Conclusion: FLP is identified not only in BD but also in diverse uveitic conditions. Effective diagnosis requires detailed clinical assessment and advanced imaging to guide appropriate management.
