Abstract

Purpose- To evaluate the safety and efficacy of
combined injection of simultaneous administration of
suprachoroidal triamcinolone and anti-VEGF in
patients with macular edema in CRVO. Methods-
Prospective study. OCT and FFA of all patients with
macular edema in CRVO were analysed. Results-10
out of 10 patients had resolution of macular edema (
primary outcome) with improvement in vision (
secondary outcome). The recurrence of edema was
less frequent in comparison to other therapies
retreived from EMR data. Conclusion- Simultaneous
combined suprachoroidal triamcinolone and anti-
VEGF injections were safe and efficacious. Moreover
the need for re treatment and visit to hospital was
significantly reduced.
