Abstract
PURPOSE: To discuss a case of ROP associated with glaucoma
METHOD: A 2kg male infant born at 32weeks 1 day was kept on bubble CPAP with 30% FiO2 for 8 days. Child was diagnosed to have Zone 2 Stage IV ROP in both eyes and underwent right eye lens sparing vitrectomy + endolaser followed by left eye PRP. At 2 months follow up, child was noted to have IOP of 38 mmHg, WTW 12 mm, axial length 23.38mm and AC depth 3.21 in right eye. Left eye IOP was 12 mmHG, WTW 11mm, axial length 19.50mm and AC depth 3.10. Child underwent right eye trabeculotomy+ trabeculectomy and was started on topical antibiotics.
RESULT: On follow up visit, IOP was within normal range
CONCLUSION: Careful examination in ROP infants is warranted to exclude glaucoma.
