Abstract
A 62-year-old hypertensive female who has been experiencing watering ,photophobia and redness of left eye since 15 days following catact surgery. visited our OPD.on examining her there was ,severe blepharitis, conjunctival hyperemia,Incidentally she was also seen having drooping of both upper eyelids ..After taking a full medical history and eliciting clinical indications during a thorough physical examination and workup comprising of Radiologic Imaging, electrophysiological studies, laboratory tests, and a neurological examination , the patient was ultimately identified as a case of Ocular Myasthenia affecting both Eyes with anterior blepheritis of left eye.topical steroids, eyelid cleanliness, were used as topical treatments.Doxycyclline,Corticosteroids and pyridostigmine were used systematically, Currently her symptoms has resolved and she is followed up.Both OMG and blepharitis in our patients could probably be caused by the same immunological mechanism.
