Abstract

Study Design-Prospective Observational study.
Purpose-Analysis of visual outcomes in patients of ocular trauma due to gunshot injury.
Methods-A Prospective study carried on 24 eyes of 24 patients and followed up for 6 months with visual acuity, slit lamp examination for lens and anterior chamber, IOP values, fundus examination for retinal status and oct.
Results-WHO category 4 visual impairment was found in 18 eyes, while category 0 was found in 5 eyes.Retinal involvement was seen in 14 eyes.
Conclusion-Ocular Gunshot injury is a severe trauma with grave results in visual outcome.
