Abstract
Retrospective case series
To evaluate the role of lens extraction in management of angle closure glaucoma.
Patients presenting with features of Acute or Chronic angle closure glaucoma with IOP more than 30 mm Hg on AGM with high lens rise on ASOCT underwent lens extraction with synechiolysis, peripheral iridotomy and AC reformation.
Ten eyes of 8 patients were treated. The pre and post op IOP, ASOCT, GONIOSCOPY were studied. All patients showed significant angle opening on ASOCT with good IOP control.
