Abstract

Trabeculectomy with or without valvular implants leads to complications like Choroidal effusion,Shallow or flat anterior chamber,Wound leak,Encapsulated bleb, Hyphema,Malignant glaucoma,Cystoid macular edema and Endophthalmitis/blebitis. After applying bridal suture- conjunctival peritomy is performed in L-Shape and retrobulbar space is freed of tenon's using wire-vectis. Superior or superotemporal placement of Omniflo tube between iris and endothelia using 23G angled MVR blade and valvular end in the retrobulbar space with conjunctival peritomy sealed with fibrin glue.OMNIFLO Tube-A Novel Innovation of size 75micron internal diameter that can be easily implanted by opening through a 23G blade due to its small size but effective mechanism IOP never comes down with retrobulbar space having the capacity to absorb 500 ulitre of aqueous/min whereas only 3-5ulitre/min produced in the eye with a high success rate with no complications/choroidal detachment.
