Abstract
8 years old male patient came to the OPD with c/o recurrent episodes of photophobia ,redness ,itching ,watering ,blurring of vision and blepharospasm in both eyes since few years .On examination patient had bilateral refractory papillae and shield ulcers .Patient was on long term topical lubricants and immunomodulators for almost 6 months .Patient also received supratarsal injection triamcinolone in upper tarsal papillae still symptoms were not resolved.Hence we planned buccal mucosal graft for this patient.We retrieved buccal mucosal graft,seperated it from submucosa and sutured the donor site.Then scraped the upper tarsal papillae and sutured buccal mucosal graft to it.Rest bare area covered with amniotic membrane graft.BCL applied and eye closed.Patient started on topical steroids and lubricants post operatively.His symptoms decreased significantly and vision improved on 6 months follow up.
