Abstract
STUDY DESIGN- HOSPITAL BASED CROSS SECTIONAL.
60 PATIENTS AGE GROUPS 11 TO 65 YEARS OF EITHER SEX ATTENDING OPD/IPD WERE EXAMINED FOR VARIOUS PRESENTING SYMPTOMS. A period of 1 YEAR 6 MONTHS was taken into consideration
.RESULTS-Most cases peaked during the monsoon season.80% were Males.most findings were papilledema (76%),optic disc hyperemia(43%), retinal hemorrhages (12%), macular edema(26%) ,conjunctivitis,(14%)facial palsy(7%) and orbital cellulitis(14%)
Conclusion – awarness and early diagnosis assists in saving the eye by assisting in the early detection, prevention, and resolution of sequelae and problems.
