Methods:13 patients are included in this study. Proper history,VA, IOP measured ,followed by Slit lamp examination and ultrasound for post segment examination., Corneal scraping done for microbiological workup.Out of 13 patient, 7 treated by conservative management and 5 patients were hospitalized for surgical intervention.4underwent therapeutic penetrating keratoplasty
Results: 11 GS and KOH positive for fungal filament ,2 came negative.Corneal button Came positive.Completely resolved with medical therapy 7 patients. postop vision was good
Conclusion:A meticulous microbiological examination is essential for the identification of the Colletotrichum spp., as this will help in thecomplete resolution of the corneal ulcer after an early initiation of the appropriate anti – fungal therapy
