Abstract

Purpose: to help beginners learn tricks to transition from needle based ccc to forceps based ccc in order to be able to manage tough situations with ease.
methods: 20 cases of transition discussed with tips and tricks to show how a surgeon can transition from needle ccc to forceps ccc with adequate training
Results: Forceps ccc can be a challenging technique for beginners, it is essential to master this technique with step by step learning and have a handy tool in hand in case of intraoperative surprises
Conclusion: with adequate training and guidelines, one can easily transition from needle CCC to forceps CCC
