Abstract
Study Design :retrospective
Purpose : to study outcomes of GATT in patients of JOAG in a tertiary eye care hospital in south India.
Methods :BCVA IOP and number of AGM were recorded for Patients of JOAG undergoing 360 degree suture GATT preoperatively then POD 1 week,1month,3month and 6 month.
Results : 30 eyes (26 patients) were studied.Mean IOP reduced from preop 23.43(+/-9.65) to 14.52(+/-7.30) 13.83(+/-6.29)14.00(+/-7.23) at end of 1,3 &6 month (p<0.001) and mean number of AGM reduced from 2.93(+/-0.87) to 0.69(+/-1.17), 0.83(+/-0.15) 0.80(+/-0.96)& 0.80(+/-0.96) at end of1,3 &6 month (p<0.001). Complete success ( IOP ≥6 & ≤21 mmHg or≥ 20% IOP reduction without AGM) seen in 88.9% ; Qualified success( IOP ≥6 & ≤21 mmHg or ≥20% IOP reduction with AGM) seen in 85.7%.POD 1 Hyphema most commonly recorded complication ( 20% patients) which mostly resolved by end of 1 week with need of AC wash only in 2 case.
Conclusion : GATT has promising results in JOAG with minimal complications.
