Abstract
A 38-year-old female presented in the Eye OPD, AMCH with the chief complaint of diminution of vision in both eyes for around 4 years. The diminution of vision was insidious in onset, painless, and gradually progressive. There was no aggravating or relieving factor. There was no history of any trauma or any other underlying etiology. There is no similar history in the family members. On ocular examination, her BCVA was HMCF+ in both eyes. Her fundus examination shows hazy media. USG B-scan reveals choroidal coloboma of both eyes. Her systemic workup was normal. The patient was evaluated and was diagnosed with a case of BILATERAL MICROCORNEA, IRIS COLOBOMA WITH CATARACT. Pre-operative assessment was done and the right eye of the patient was planned for surgery. A-scan R/E=+14.50D.SICS with PCIOL R/E was done. Post-operatively the patient was started on topical steroids and topical antibiotics and followed up on day 1 and day 14. Visual rehabilitation is necessary post-operatively.
