BCVA was taken using ETDRS chart
Contrast sensitivity using Pelli Robson contrast sensitivity chart
Colour vision by Ishihara chart Fundus examination
Visual evoked potential (VEP)
Result & conclusion:
Pentoxifylline has improved vision and contrast in ethambutol induced optic neuropathy, while there was no significant improvement in the other group.
There was no significant improvement in colour vision and VEP findings in both the groups.
