Abstract
Study design:Prospective interventional case report
Purpose:Reporting a rare case of subconjunctival lymphoproliferative lesion in a 49/male
Method:Patient came with c/o painless pinkish fleshy growth on white part of LE since 1 month,gradually increasing in size.No h/o systemic comorbidities,lymph node swellings.O/E:RE was normal.LE superotemporal subconjunctival pinkish fleshy lesion of 18×10 mm size touching limbus,with a feeder vessel,not involving fornix.Otherwise A/s normal.BE fundus normal.BE EOM full&free. No e/o SOL on CT scan.Peripheral smear normal
Result:Excisional biopsy under LA.HPE:chronic lymphoproliferative disorder.IHC s/o CD20 positive low grade B cell NHL.FDG-PET s/o no metabolically active lesion in left conjunctiva and other segments of the body.
Conclusion:Patient was diagnosed with LE subconjunctival low grade B cell NHL and referred to cancer hospital where Interstitial Brachytherapy with strontium 90-surface application was advised with follow up.
