Abstract
Carotid cavernous fistula (CCF) is an abnormal communication between the cavernous sinus and the carotid arterial system. This case series presents a comprehensive analysis on ophthalmological manifestations of Carotid cavernous Fistula and role of interventional Radiology in efficacy and safety of management. A total of 3 patients with clinically and radiologically diagnosed CCF underwent management and follow up in ophthalmology department and the details were documented for each case. The study aims to evaluate the success rate of managing the CCF case in achieving complete resolution. All patients were followed up for 3 months postoperatively for assessing the signs and symptoms, minimising complications and patient satisfaction. The positive patient feedback and good visual acuity suggests that the mangement they went through is benefitting them both functionally and Aesthetically.
